Beth Israel Lahey Health partnered with TERVA Design Solutions to convert an existing medical suite into a new outpatient suite for the Neurology Department at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. The goal was to create a functional space to meet the needs of the Neurology Department with the challenge of minimal construction within the suite.
Making the most out of existing space
The TERVA Design Solutions Team analyzed the space and with creative inspiration designed a plan to convert the existing conference room into two exam rooms, adapt the existing patient intake room into a new single patient exam room, and transform the two existing shared offices into four private offices. This effective conversion accomplished keeping construction to a minimum and fully met the goal for the Neurology Department’s needs.
