Attic Ventilation and House Doctor Services

The TERVA Engineering Team provided design services to the Longyear Foundation for the Mary Baker Eddy Historic House Attic Ventilation Project.

Solutions for Today and Tomorrow

The Team investigated the current attic conditions to establish a design solution for improved air circulation offering cooler temperatures in the summer and to avoid ice damming in the winter. TERVA prepared a complete, detailed report that would resolve the issues and meet the goals for Longyear. The design solution included a free area for intake and exhaust outlets, exhaust fan selection, and sequence of operation. 

The TERVA Engineering Team continues to work with Longyear providing ongoing house doctor services offering insight and assistance when issues arise at the Mary Baker House.
