Vanserg Hall

TERVA believes every building tells a story … our story is built on leadership and innovation
— Terva Corporation

Client: Harvard University
Location: Cambridge, MA
Project Size: 6,500 sq. ft.
Architect: Kennedy & Violich Architecture
Construction Manager: Gilbane Building Co.

Vanserg Hall stands out from other buildings at Harvard for its flexible classrooms and adaptable learning spaces. Accessibility, however, has long been a challenge. To help better accommodate the hustle and bustle flow of daily visitors into the areas they wish to reach, Terva’s role as project manager included installing a new elevator and completing a second-floor renovation for more classrooms. Topping off the upgrades, a much-needed new weathertight roof to protect against the elements year-round.
