Leverett Tower

Steam to Hot Water Infrastructure Upgrade

Harvard called upon the TERVA Engineering Design Team for assistance with HVAC improvements at Leverett Towers. The goal was to upgrade the current steam system to a hot water infrastructure.

The Importance of Modernization

The existing HVAC equipment in Leverett Tower was well past its expected life and required replacement to keep the building’s heat operating as expected.

The TERVA Team evaluated the project and determined that to minimize disruption and assist in managing the building’s occupancy schedule, the project would be completed in phases. The Team provided a pre-purchase schedule for equipment and prepared construction drawings to detail the installation to support a successful completion of this project.
