NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY’s ROUX INSTITUTE, PORTLAND ME
TERVA is proud and excited to be working with Swingpoint Development on providing Owner’s Project Manager Services for Northeastern University as they build the Roux Institute Campus in Portland, Maine. Using the former B&M Baked Beans Factory property in the East Deering neighborhood, Northeastern’s new campus will focus on graduate programs in technology and life sciences. TERVA is serving as project manager for the initial campus buildout focused on the 13 acre campus site and infrastructure, a new parking garage and daycare facility, renovation of the 58,000 square foot former B&M factory, and construction of a 245,000 square foot Learning, Research, and Collaboration Building.
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited the site recently for the unveiling of a $25M transportation grant that will help connect Roux’s future campus with its Portland neighbors. Read the article.
